Great purchase. As described and shown in the photos. The puppy really liked it. The little heart inside the plush toy simulates a heartbeat...very cute, although my puppy doesn't appreciate it.
In general, it works as described in the instructions. The heart rate monitor works. However, our dog does not behave as he should. It doesn't calm him down; instead, he gets completely excited and chases and plays with it like a Schmitz cat.
The heart sounds super strange and loud...
It's rubbish, it doesn't resemble a heartbeat at all, my dog was scared to death. If you love your animals, don't even think about giving them that, and to return it they charge half of what it's worth. A scam.
I ordered this extra because I had ordered a stuffed dog that also had a box with a heartbeat sound in it, but this one turned out to be from a different brand. I even got scared because it made such loud noises and vibrated so hard.
This one is perfect.
My dog loved it.
He hasn't bitten it yet, but as in the photo, it's very good.
For my baby dog, I put it in its doll and sewed it back together, then I put it on at night to help with its anxiety.

Doesn't have a real heartbeat but the sound is made by a vibrating motor so it's not a beating heart sound but zzzz zzzz zzzz
